The Profile Page for each Crowd acts as the shop window for the Crowd, and can be configured quickly with a number of options and settings.

These layout options include the banner image for the Crowd, whether to display a Crowd Description, show a supporting video, enable the Content Management System (CMS) for the Crowd, and display a panel showing Popular, Recent and Rated ideas.

To access the Crowd Profile page settings, choose the Page Layout option from the Crowd's ellipses menu.

The Edit Page Layout page will be displayed, with the following sections and options:

Using a Banner Image is a great way to get your organisational branding into your Crowd.

The Banner Panel section displays the following options.

Tap the + Choose Image button to add a new image. For help on image sizes, take a look at this article.

Tap the Clear button to remove an image that has been added earlier.

The Introduction Panel provides Crowd Owners with a great way to communicate the objectives of the Crowd with all of the Crowd members.

The Introduction Panel section displays the following options.

Tick the Show Panel option to show the Introduction Panel on the Crowd Profile page, or keep it unticked to hide the Introduction Panel.

When the Panel is visible the Show Assessment Guide Link option, when ticked, will display a link in the Introduction Panel which will open a modal screen showing the Assessment Measures for the Crowd, along with an imagery that has been associated with those measures. This can be a great way to help people understand how their contributions will create value for the organisation.

When the 'Show Assessment Guide Link' option has been ticked, the text that used for the link can be set by completing the Assessment Guide Link Text field, For example, the "Find out how your ideas will be evaluated" might be used for this.

Similarly, the Assessment Guide Intro Text field can be configured with text that will appear at the top of the modal screen that will open. Text such as "Expand the Panels below to learn how your ideas will create value for Acme Ltd".

The Description field enables a rich text Introduction message to be created for your Crowd, which is a great way to help Crowd members understand what the Crowd is aiming to achieve.

A supporting video can also be displayed for your Crowd by ticking the Show Video option, and entering a video URL into the Video URL field. A video Embed code should be used for this which can be obtained, for example in YouTube, by right clicking a video and choosing the Copy Embed Code option.

The Articles Panel provides a mini CMS (Content Management System) in which articles that are associated with the Crowd can be shared - for example Case Studes of successes from previous ideas that have been contributed.

The Articles Panel section displays the following options.

To display the Articles Panel, tick the Show Panel option. The panel will then be displayed at bottom of the Crowd Profile page.

The name of the Panel can be configured to meet your own needs - such as "Case Studies" or "More Information" - by completing the Panel Title field,

The Top Contributions Panel can be turned on to display the Most Recent, Most Liked and Highest Rated contributions across the Crowd.

The Top Contributions Panel section displays the following options.

To turn on the Panel, tick the Show Panel option. The Panel will now be displayed on the Crowd Profile page below the Introduction Message, and will show 3 sub-Panels for Most Recent, Most Liked and Highest Rated, with up to 10 entries in each.
