While there is a lot of flexibility, this also means that there can be a lot of terminology on your smartcrowds platform. This guide will help you make the most out of your smartcrowds!

Categories: How Crowds are grouped together - this terminology is not configurable

Crowds: A collection of people working towards the same goal. Only Crowd members can see what happens within the Crowd.

Groups: Groups are different subject areas for submissions. Submissions are always inputted into a Group. The Group label is configurable, so can be known as Challenges, Improvement Areas, Projects or anything that makes sense for its content.

Submissions: Submissions are the items that general users input into Groups. The Submission label is configurable as well, so are usually known as Ideas, but are often known as Suggestions or Recommendations. Again, this is dependant on the topic of the Group.
