There are a couple of phrases that you'll come across in smartcrowds that may have different meanings here, so we thought we'd put together a few definitions to get you started;
Crowds - This is a collection of people working towards a common goal. Who can see what is dertermined by crowds within the system. Each Crowd has its own collection of settings
Groups - Groups usually relate to a specific problem that needs to be solved or a barrier that needs to be removed. The Group label is configurable depending on what its purpose is, so could be set to Challenge, Project, Initiative, etc. This is where any ideas or suggestions that users have will be added.
Ideas - Speaking of - these are users contributions to the above-mentioned groups. So if users have a solution or something that might help solve the problem, or an idea, for example, on how to generate revenue or help your clients, these are what will be submitted. This label is also configurable, so could be referred to as Ideas, Suggestions or Recommendations, etc.
Assessors - These are the individuals that will be determining whether or not the organisation will be taking an idea forward, or if it requires further exploration. This will be determined by a collection of pre-set criteria.
Assessment Measures - These are pre-determined set of criteria by which all ideas will be vetted. We have included an example below. These are configured in the Crowd Settings. We can help you determine what kind of criteria you will need for any Crowd, just get in touch and we'll be happy to help!
These can often be viewed at any time by clicking 'How your idea will be assessed' on the Crowd Profile page.
